Adverse Impact Analyzer

The Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) requires that contractors perform an analysis of their employment selection activities at least annually. An adverse impact analysis by job group fulfills this requirement.

What is Adverse Impact?

Adverse Impact is when a facially neutral selection device or process yields a substantially different rate of selection in hiring, promotion or other employment decision which works to the disadvantage of members of a race, sex or ethnic group.
